Acceptable Use Policy

This AUP applies to every user — artists, creators, admins, and visitors — and to every piece of content and conduct on or through MuziQ. By using MuziQ you agree that MuziQ has the right to review, remove, demonetize, refuse payout on, or reject any content that violates this AUP, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate it.

The following content is never permitted on MuziQ or in any submission created for a MuziQ campaign. Accounts that upload, monetize, or attempt to monetize this content will be immediately terminated and, where required, reported to law enforcement and to relevant industry hotlines (NCMEC, IWF).

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any content sexualizing or exploiting minors, including AI-generated, animated, cartoon, or written depictions.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), including deepfakes and imagery obtained without the depicted person's knowing consent.
• Human trafficking, sexual services, or escort solicitation.
• Terrorism, violent extremism, and content that promotes, glorifies, incites, or recruits for terrorist organizations or violent extremist causes.
• Credible threats of violence against a person or group, doxxing, or targeted harassment.
• Content that promotes or facilitates suicide or self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous "challenges".
• Genocide denial, dehumanization, and hate speech targeting protected classes (race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status).

Content in the following categories is prohibited from being monetized on MuziQ. This mirrors card-network and payment-partner (Visa, Mastercard, Stripe) restricted business categories. Attempting to fund campaigns for, or earn payouts from, this content will result in immediate demonetization and account action.

• Adult content and services: nudity, sexually explicit acts, erotic audio/video, "subscriber-only" nude imagery, adult live-chat, pornography, and sex toys or content marketed as such.
• Intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement: unlicensed use of third-party music, samples, vocals, video, film clips, images, likenesses, brand marks, or lyrics; counterfeit or "dupe" goods; bootleg merchandise; unlicensed sports or broadcast content.
• Copyright-infringing streaming, downloads, cheat codes, or ROMs.
• Trademark, publicity-right, and moral-right infringement, including impersonation of another artist, brand, or public figure.
• Regulated pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, cannabis, CBD, nicotine, vaping, and alcohol where jurisdictional rules are not met, or where the campaign audience cannot be reliably age-gated.
• Firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives, and related accessories.
• Gambling, sports betting, sweepstakes, and skill-gaming without a valid license in each jurisdiction of promotion.
• Financial services violations: unregistered securities, "pump and dump" schemes, unlicensed money transmission, chargeback fraud, credit repair scams, or debt collection abuse.
• Cryptocurrency schemes: unregistered token offerings, rug pulls, and impersonation of legitimate projects. Legitimate, licensed crypto services may promote with prior written approval.
• Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" and other high-risk earnings claims.
• Deceptive health, wellness, beauty, or medical claims; misleading before/after content; unapproved cures; anti-vaccine misinformation.
• Election, civic, or political manipulation content; coordinated inauthentic behavior; foreign-agent activity without disclosure.
• Malware, spyware, phishing kits, credential-stuffing services, botnets, DDoS-for-hire, or any product marketed to bypass platform, DRM, or security controls.
• Any product or service illegal in the artist's, the creator's, or the audience's jurisdiction.

You may not, and may not attempt to:

• Buy, sell, farm, or otherwise manipulate views, likes, followers, comments, or other engagement metrics used for KPI-based payouts.
• Operate sock-puppet, bot, or "engagement pod" networks; run coordinated inauthentic behavior; or use paid engagement services to inflate campaign performance.
• Impersonate another person, artist, brand, employee, or MuziQ representative.
• Circumvent rate limits, geo-restrictions, age gates, take-downs, or account suspensions (including by creating new accounts to evade enforcement — see Section 7).
• Scrape, mirror, or resell MuziQ data, or reverse-engineer any MuziQ system.
• Upload viruses, malware, exploits, or content designed to interfere with the platform or with any user's device.
• Use MuziQ to launder money, evade sanctions, or move funds on behalf of a sanctioned party.
• Harass, threaten, dox, or sexually harass any user, employee, or contractor.
• Post another user's personal or private information without their explicit consent.
• Use MuziQ's AI features (including Ava) to generate content that violates this AUP.

Every artist warrants that they own or control 100% of the master recording rights, composition/publishing rights, sample clearances, and featured-artist consents necessary to authorize creators to use the music in a MuziQ campaign, on the specified platforms, for the specified duration. Every creator warrants that their submitted content does not infringe any third-party right and that they have permission from any recognizable person appearing in it. False or reckless rights representations are grounds for immediate refund, clawback, demonetization, and termination.

MuziQ combines automated and human review. Automated pre-publication screening covers rights metadata, keyword/topic filters against this AUP's categories, image and audio hashes against known-abuse datasets, sanctions/OFAC screening on payout destinations, and Stripe Radar for payment-side fraud. Post-publication we continuously monitor TikTok performance signals for engagement fraud and remove submissions from payout calculations when integrity is in doubt.

In-product reporting. Every campaign brief, artist profile, and submission carries a "Report" control. Any signed-in user can submit a report categorized as copyright, trademark/IP, adult content, violent extremism, spam/fraud, harassment, or other AUP violation. Reports go to our trust queue at /admin/content-reports and are acknowledged within 2 business days and actioned within 7 business days. Rights holders and non-users can email support@muziqcollab.com to file the same categories of report.

DMCA and notice-and-take-down. Formal copyright notices must be sent to dmca@muziqcollab.com and include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury, and a physical or electronic signature. Counter-notices must contain the elements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Emergency and safety escalations. Threats of imminent harm, CSAM, or terrorist content should be reported to trust@muziqcollab.com. We preserve evidence, remove content, disable accounts, and report to NCMEC, IWF, GIFCT, or law enforcement as appropriate.

MuziQ enforces a documented three-strike policy against repeat offenders, applied per account and per rights-verified natural person or entity behind the account.

• Strike 1 — Formal warning. The offending content is removed or demonetized. The account is notified in writing, briefed on the specific AUP section, and offered an appeal path.
• Strike 2 — 30-day suspension. Payouts are frozen pending re-verification; the artist or creator may not launch new campaigns, submissions, or payouts during the suspension.
• Strike 3 — Permanent termination. The account and any linked accounts are permanently banned; outstanding balances tied to violating content are forfeited; the violator's identifiers (email, TikTok handle, payout email, IP fingerprint, device fingerprint) are added to our block-list to prevent circumvention.
• Egregious violations — Immediate termination. CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, terrorism/violent-extremism, credible threats, human trafficking, coordinated fraud, sanctions evasion, or malware distribution result in immediate permanent termination on the first offense, with reporting to authorities.

Attempting to evade a suspension or termination — by creating a new account, using a different email or payout method, or acting through a straw account — is itself grounds for immediate permanent termination of all involved accounts. Appeals must be submitted to appeals@muziqcollab.com within 14 days of the enforcement action.
